03How We Use Information
All information accessed by Uninstaller Plus is used exclusively for the following on-device purposes:
Core Functionality
- App Management: Display your installed applications with their name, size, version, and icon so you can decide which to keep or remove.
- Batch Uninstallation: Enable selection of multiple apps and pass the uninstall request to Android's official system dialog. You always confirm before anything is removed.
- Storage Analysis: Calculate and display how much storage each app uses to help you free up device space.
- Usage Statistics (optional): If you grant the optional permission, display which apps are rarely or frequently used to help you identify candidates for removal.
Local Preferences
- Sort order, filter settings, and theme preferences are stored in Android's
SharedPreferenceswithin the app's private sandboxed storage, solely to maintain your chosen configuration across sessions.
04Data Storage & Security
Local Storage Only
- RAM only during use: App lists and metadata are loaded into device memory while the app is open and discarded when you close it.
- SharedPreferences: User preferences (sort order, theme) are saved in the app's private, sandboxed storage on your device only.
- No external storage: We write nothing to your SD card, shared storage, cloud services, or remote servers.
- Automatic cleanup: Clearing the app's data via Android Settings removes all locally stored preferences immediately.
Security Measures
- Android Sandbox: The app is isolated from other apps and system components by Android's application sandbox.
- No network transmission: Without the INTERNET permission, no data can leave your device.
- Official Android APIs only: All data access uses verified, official Android APIs with built-in security protections.
- No third-party SDKs: No external libraries are included that could access or transmit data.

PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS |
